'The Centre' in Durban charges extortionate prices on their labour and parts, while their service is barely adequate in my case. After several issues with my 'repaired' vehicle they suddenly changed the warranty period, and when I took it back to be sorted out I was charged again for the repairs. I then took it elsewhere for the same re-repair and was charged less than half price for a repair job which actually lasted. The owner of 'The Centre' refused to return my calls and when I went there to discuss my issues, he told me that he's too busy to assist or pull the invoices I'm querying (although he was sitting around shooting the breeze with his Assistant mechanic). After 2 months I still await some customer service and invoices from them! They have offered to re-imburse me for the amount of R1180, but my costs greatly exceed this. In my opinion this is an admission of guilt and I should be refunded for an inadequate job done.
