I've sent two broken hard drives under warranty to Seagate in the Netherlands, and paid R168 for the postage.
Seagate then received the hard drives, evaluated it, and sent it back with UPS.
UPS now charge me R214.34 for Customs Tax on items that they claim are being imported. This is not the case... The value of these drives is absolutely zero and the only reason why I want them back is to try and recover the data on them.
This is not for a business of company it is purely personal use. And I have not bought the hard drives overseas, I bought them from a local Computer retailer. Tax was already paid on these, so why do I now have to pay again on something that I believe I should not.
On the Tracking slip it states that the parcel has been released by the Clearing agency and is in transit...
This is unacceptable!
