HIRED A CAR 3 WEEKS AGO, ALL WAS IN ORDER UNTIL THE CAR WAS BROKEN INTO ON HOLIDAY (MINOR DAMAGE TO PASSENGER SIDE LOCK) AND EUROPCAR TOLD ME TO GO REPORT IT TO POLICE STATION FO A CASE NUMBER FOR THEIR INSURANCE. HANDED THE CAR BACK IN NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT ME BEING LIABLE FOR THE LOCK OF THE CAR.
RETURNED HOME AND WAITED 5 DAYS I STILL HAD NOT RECIEVED MY DEPOSIT, I EMAILED THEM THEY SENT IT THROUGH. NOW 2 WEEKS LATER (1ST MAY) I RECIEVE AN EMAIL SAYING I AM LIABLE FOR THE CLAIM WHICH IS R935? I REPLY WITH AN EMAIL (2 MAY) ASKING THEM TO EXPLAIN WHY I AM LIABLE FOR THIS CLAIM (YESTERDAY MORNING) NO REPLY. AROUND 5 PM I GET A BANK NOTIFICATION - EUROPCAR HAS TAKEN THE MONEY OFF MY CREDIT CARD JUST LIKE THAT NO WARNING AND NO RESPOND TO MY EMAIL AND THEN I SEND THEM ANOTHER EMAIL LAST NIGHT STILL NO RESPONSE! YOU PEOPLE CANNOT JUST TAKE MONEY FROM ME WITHOUT AN EXPLAINATION AND YOU DONT EVEN GIVE ME TIME TO QUESTION IT YOU JUST MY MONEY WHEN IT IS YOUR INSURANCE THAT COVERS THIS DAMAGE! I WILL NEVER USE EUROPCAR AGAIN AND I WILL ALERT EVERYONE ON YOUR PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR RUNNING A CORRUPT COMPANY!!!
