I went to Ocean Basket (Nelspruit) on 10 April 2013. I was really looking forward to having some sushi and calamari done cajun style.
I know people usually complain about slow serve, but in this case is was very much the opposite. Between the sushi and the calamari combo I ordered I didn't wait even five minutes. I was in and out of the place in 40 minutes - all too rushed for dinner!
The service was lacking in many, many respects. The waiter plonked everything on the table with an attitude of "I hate my job". You could clearly see that he was there because he had to be, not because he wanted to be. He had absolutely no table manner - I don't know why they employed him. When he took away the calamari platter plate he even told me "I get you the slip". No coffee? Dessert? Nope, not for me.
All in all a very, very disappointing experience and I left feeling cheated out of what could have been a very nice dinner.
