Yesterday i took my wife for lunch to Ocean Basket (Trade Route Mall - Lenasia) and we ordered for starters a " Cheezy Garlic Roll " which was really horrible. The Roll they used was from the Pick n Pay downstairs and it was extremely dry and covered in very little Garlic sauce and feta. I found some prawn shells floating around in the sauce of the Garlic bread but i didn't bother to complain about that. However, when my main meal arrived i wasn't too impressed. The sauce they used over the calamari / squid heads doesn't have that ' Ocean Basket ' taste to it and the prawns seemed a little under done as they were sticking to the shell.
A waiter then came round to ask how our meal was of which i honestly responded to her by saying: " It was " and that i would like to speak to the owner. The owner then came to the table of which i then asked him to have 1 of the prawns on my plate of which he refused. ( I really can't see how the owner expects people to eat from there when he wont eat his own food either) He also seemed very irritated that i wasn't too impressed about the quality of the food and came across as arrogant and that he couldn't be bothered.
