We are big supporters of Ocean Basket and normally enjoy the food. It has been twice now that the Waterfront Bfn Ocean Basket has disappointed. The first time we ordered take away for collection and when we got home half the food wasn't in the take away - they didn't forget it they just didn't put it in. For example instead of 6 prawns we got 5 and instead of 3 mussels we got 2.
We now ordered food through Mr. Delivery from the same branch. The seared Salmon salad which I enjoyed thoroughly at the Windmill Casino Ocean Basket was not only untasty but completely inedible. It was small, had little avocado, wilted cucumber, was topped with a ridiculous amount of garlic and was in a watery juice. For a R73 starter I was expecting more to say the least.
As this is the second time I can confirm that I will no longer be supporting the branch and find the quality of food absolutely ridiculous!!! I am extremely disappointed as I had been looking forward to this meal for a long time and was completely let down.
