I visited Moyos situated the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town yesterday 3 March 2013. The day was very warm and as usual a very pleasant day with our family and friends celebrating a child's birthday at Moyo's. The musicians playing on the lawn at the entrance of Moyo's were doing a fantastic job of setting an awesome atmosphere witht their percussion instruments (drums, xylophone etc.) We noticed taht in the extreme heat of the midday the band had no shade provided for them and it was a scorcher. I approached the manager and explained the issue and he responded with an apology and he took it upon himself to run a round and arrange large umbrellas for them. Which they appreciated and too, rest of the patrons watched and they too applauded as they observed the relief on the musicians. My compliment goes out to Frank the Manager at Moyo's who took the action needed with no excuse but a brief expalantion. He ensured me that he would take it up with the owner to ensure that the musicians are covered in terms of the elements (sun or rain). Overall I feel Frank is a superb manager that takes the initiative to resolve issues. Pls fix the mens toilets though, none were working.
