Moyo
Terrible food

We went to Moyo for a late lunch last weekend and it was one of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant in Cape Town.

We sat outside. There was a guy outside playing the drums which would have been awesome were it not for some house DJ inside who's music was blaring outwards and not blending well with the drums at all.

We ordered some rump steak rolls. There were 7 of us and we all just went for the same thing. When we got the food, one roll on each plate (2 rolls per plate) was stale. The chef had purposely divided up his old bread. The chips were tiny scraps.

Another manager arrived and apologised and mentioned that the chips were organic and that is why they looked like that. Rubbish. He also said the bread was probably crisped up in the oven. Rubbish. We had 2 people in our group who have run restaurants and they were flabbergasted by the rubbish they were hearing.

The manager only removed 2 of the meals from our bill and we hesitantly paid and left.

As we were about to leave we noticed a chef carrying a big bag full of rolls past us and into the kitchen... Just to add insult to injury. Never again.

This is in the Waterfront where tourists go! Unbelievable.
