I make a special trip to Durbanville, when i am on business in Cape Town, just to eat at the Himalayan Asian Restaurant. I find the curries delicious-if you want a curry blast -this is the place. So full of flavour and leaves one with a nice spicy tingle at the end of meal. The sushi is also really nice. I spoke to sushi chef about some of the negative reviews and he explained in his Japanese- English that their groupon special -ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI FOR R99 for 2 people really "broke the place down". Groupon had apparently not specified the exclusions and they over sold vouchers- thats what i could gather,
I hope they back on the road to recovery...
The service from waiters is good, Odwa is an excellent waiter- love him to bits-Moses the barman is also really friendly. The atmosphere is also very relaxed. Will always be back...
