My husband and i frequently go shopping together and have always found Mugg and Bean our restaurant of choice - the reason being fresh ingredients and very good presentation. We often order different items off the menu and have never had anything to complain about. On Sunday however, when visiting at The Glen shopping centre this was not the case. We both ordered the crumbed chicken fillets with blue cheese and chips - only to discover that this dish was not only very poorly presented but the chicken was overdone and therefore totally inedible. We complained and although the waiter was very appologetic and the manager immediately insisted that we order something else (which we did) it did nothing to the way the dish was presented and i feel that management should address this issue! We have all watched enough episodes of "Master Chef" to know it is all in the presentation and browned crumbed chicken fillets, with brown chips and a drizzling of a whitish blue sauce with no garnish at all makes a very poor looking dish - which was off putting even before we had tasted the chicken. Perhaps management could address this one dish as all the other dishes always looks so appetyzing?
