On Saturday 17/08/2013, my boyfriend and I decided to go to the Mugg and Bean restaurant at the Pavilion shopping mall. Mugg and Bean being one of our most favourite eating spots, we regularly visit the branch at Musgrave centre, and are always 100 percent pleased with the food and service, however at the Pavilion, it was not good at all. Firstly the restaurant was packed, with no available seating outside we had to sit inside, cramped at the bar area we proceeded to order lunch, new on the menu was homemade cottage pie, which I opted for and we also order a regular for us, chicken mac n cheese. the cottage was the worst thing I've tasted in a while, the veg was raw and the mince meat was barely cooked, the potato mash tasted as if it were from a packet, it really left me sick for the entire day, I could only have a spoon full of it and didn't go more than that, the mac n cheese, looked horrible, it was not presented like usually, it was mixed up, presented in a rather small bowl and tasted as if it were gone spolit, I assume it was reheated. I am very disappointed that the standard of food, presentation etc. isn't the same as other branches, I wont advise anyone to go to the pavilion
