I placed an order for a cake on Mon 20.01.2014 and paid for in full (R300!) - for collection Sun 26.01.2014.
Firstly, there were no smarties on the cake as requested. The staff gave us some in a cup for us to put on the cake ourselves.
We collected the cake at the one end of the Mall at 9h55, and proceeded to the other side of the Mall. I decided to save some time and put the Smarties on quickly while I waited in the car. I opened the box and WOW - this ice cream cake was sliding off of the board, the box AND CAKE was SUCH a mess. We went straight back to Milky Lane - this was a total of 10/13 mins after collecting. The staff could not believe their eyes. The one lady (seemed to be manager) said that in her opinion the cake was probably done at the last minute and did not have enough time to set.
The Owner Raees was contacted and spoke to me on the phone - he basically said I was untruthful about the time lapse!! Even if I HAD gone straight home (10 mins away) the cake would still not have survived the trip, and it was not even a hot day!!!
The staff tried fixing the cake but when handed back to me-was cracked in the middle! This was SUCH an embarrassment! WILL NEVER RETURN!!
