I attended at Milky Lane in Alberton City on 30 July 2013 at 11:00 and placed an order for an ice cream cake, I also emailed a picture to be placed on the cake. The cake was for my daughter's birthday party at school. I made prior arrangements with the school to accommodate me. The "manager" confirmed receiving the email. The order was for 2 August 2013 at 11:30 - 72 hours in advance as required by Milky Lane.
On my arrival at Milky Lane Alberton City on 2 August 2013 at 11:30 I was informed that the cake was not ready as they did not have any ink. They had my email address as well as my cell number but did not have the decency to inform me in advance. After a lot of complaining I eventually got the "owner's" cell number. I called him 3 times and all 3 times he put the phone down in my ear. I was thereafter unable to reach him telephonically, I presume he blocked my number. I do admit that I was very angry and frustrated when I talked to him but that gave him no right to keep ending my calls. I then had to fight to get my money back. and had to go find another cake.
Instead I received a few sms messages from him - trying to justify and cover why the cake was not ready.
