I ordered a cake that was due for collection on 18 Feb 13. Ajilly called after 6pm on 18 Feb 13 notifying of collection and indicated that I could not collect since they were closed. Cake collected the following day. Cake was dry and scorched. I returned the cake on 20 feb 13 to complain. Ajilly wanted the person who baked the cake who was not available at the time. She later indicated that I collected cake too late. Ajilly informed me that the cake meets their standard and I am used to the cheap Shoprite cakes (whatever that means). I wanted a cake that was light and fluffy. I found the attitude unwelcoming and abrasive.
