Firstly, some compliments; to most of the waiters who are always friendly and try to work with what they have, great venue, nice atmosphere created by the natural surroundings. BUT, it is a restaurant, not a zoo. Thatchers is constantly out of stock on various items, from things such as basic soft and alcoholic drinks to their signature T-bone. Time after time I hear the words "sorry sir, we don't have...". On my latest visit we requested to see the manager and instead a waiter was sent with an excuse. To this day I am actually unsure of who the manger is but suspect it may be the gentleman I see floating around occasional half asleep. This is a desperate cry to top management to please save this great establishment. It is clear it lacks the fundamentals.
