On Thursday 16 January 2014 at approximately 14h00 I went to KFC Gardens and made a purchase to the value of R35.80. I paid with my credit card. The young lady who served me was very friendly and chatty. I was not required to sign the slip. Later, I received a sms from my bank indicating that a transaction of R235.80 was effected. I immediately called KFC and was told that I need to let them have a copy of my bank statement verifying the debit, even though they acknowledged the over charge did occur. I told them that my bank will only be able to provide the statement a week later. Now I contacted them to submit the bank statement, I am told it that it will take another 48 hours before they reimburse me. I feel like I have been done in twice by KFC Gardens. I am also not sure whether this was deliberate or an honest mistake. But I am just very unhappy by all of this.
