Your mistake but I pay

I handed in a form of requested statement copies at the gardens branch, fetched them 2 days later and was told to pay R 160, 00 CASH. Got home and discovered one statement was missing and I had been given one I did not request. Went back today. They battled to read and understand this simple problem. Then they discovered that they had undercharged for the statements I had received. Now they became only interested in that problem and started writing out a deposit slip for the remainder of the money I would have pay them before getting this final statement.- INSTEAD of saying "sorry for the inconvenience and our mistake - here's your final statement. Good day Mr de Kock our old and valued customer" GOOD GRIEF! I so badly need that statement and really don't want a fourth visit to this branch and I was tempted to pay and go but I need to stick up for myself and the rest of us totally over SA bank clients. lets see if they can do the right thing and e mail me the statement (which they told me today they could have done with the whole request) But hey why offer in the beginning to save your customer time? Dont hold your breaths. SB only have a 135 reply rate to hellopeter!
