Shocking service and poor quality of food

Went to M&B, Canal Walk for breakfast yesterday (19-01), Waited for ages (they were not bursting with customers so were not "run off their feet") to be attended to and eventually called a passing waitress for service. Ordered Mocca Java coffee which was brought quite quickly but was luke warm. When our waitress came and identified herself, we complained and she shrugged her shoulders and said that maybe it was the flask that was faulty. Took the coffee and returned with hot coffee saying that she had heated it with the frother. We had 2 OTG b/fasts and requested butter and marmalade for the extra toast. A mini butter for 2 arrived with some red jam. The jam was returned and two servings of jam, obviously apricot, were brought. It was queried and we were assured that it WAS marmalade. She left returning saying that the kitchen said it WAS marmalade. Again a shrug of the shoulders. To be expected that once we had problems/complaints there was no manager/supervisor in sight. Will not be visiting there again.
