A friend of mine is a vegetarian and specifically asked for a 'vegetarian goody burger' with fries and onion rings. The waiter clearly misunderstood because what my friend got was (unbeknown to us at the time) a beef burger with veg on the side. We didn't make a fuss about the vegetables and thought nothing about the burger as it was covered in sauce as they all are. He took one bite of the burger, realized it was meat and rushed to the bathroom.
It's not uncommon for human-beings to make mistakes, but EVERY TIME we go to this Spur they get our orders wrong. They've never given us beef instead of vegetarian though, so this is just the last straw.
Other than that, the managers have rotten attitudes. People that sat next to us complained about our conversation (my friend telling me that he got sick and that he felt sick) and the manager asked us to please refrain from talking about such things at the restaurant.
We've always supported Spur. We go there at least once a week and I am appalled at the way they treated us after it was their fault he got sick.
I will never put my foot in there again.
