On Friday 15/11/2013 I ordered a Cheddamelt burger from Blueroute spur. Only after eating three quarters of it did I notice it was completely raw in the middle. There is a lot of sauce on the burger and I was chatting while I was eating otherwise I wouldve noticed it sooner. I told the waiter about it and he was very polite and called the manager. The manager offered me another burger but I declined as I was put off of it already. She then gave us a free coke. I go to Spur regularly and I wrote it off as a one time thing as I usually enjoy Spur food. However, the next day I was violently sick. And have been sick since then. I ended up having to take 2 days off work and a visit to the doctor which cost me R400.
I dont expect anything in compensation but I would just like to let Spur know that it can be very dangerous to not cook meat properly and especially if I was an elderly or sickly person (which I am not).
I dont think I will ever have a Spur burger again!
