On Saturday evening my wife and I decided to go out for supper. The SPUR closest to us was closed for renovations and we then decided to go to the SPUR Kolonnade. Arriving there they were not too busy and we asked for an "outside" seat. We were taken to our table by one of the Supervisors/Managers. The table she seated us at was still dirty and she removed the dirty dishes and left. We sat down assuming she will come back or send someone to clean the table as it was full of spilled cold drink and generally dirty from the previous patrons' food. We sat for what seemed like 10 or 15 minutes with no one attending to us. The one manager we know from Panarotti's next door came to talk to us and seeing our predicament went to talk to one of the managers/supervisors standing in the door of SPUR to sort the issue out.By then my wife and I have already made a booking at another restaurant and we got up to leave. At the counter I asked for the manager who appeared and after telling him about the lack of service and he asked me to write it in a book. In the meantime someone else was shown to our table and it was cleaned instantly and I assume he got served promptly!
