My girlfriend's family and I went to enjoy a delicious meal with excellent service, as we have come to expect from Mugg & Bean. However, we were very disappointed. Two of us got our meal about 25 minutes after ordering, with the last plate of food only coming out half an hour later than the first plates came out. Some food came out cold and was sent back. Upon return, the eggs were rock-hard and the bacon was not crispy (as had been requested). Toast for the one breakfast only came out by the time the rest of the breakfast was finished. Overall, the service was terribly sloppy and the food was far from satisfactory. In future we will probably go to Wimpy, as there we can get good service without paying a fortune. We will not be paying over R500 for such poor food and service again.
