On Wednesday, after shopping at Clearwater we sat down at Mugg & Bean at 13h10. waiter arrived promptly and gave out menus and took our drinks order. The drinks arrived reasonably quickly and then we waited. People arrived around us, and their orders were taken and filled and still we waited. After 40 minutes I looked for our waiter, who was busy taking yet another order and enquired after our food. At that stage table 46 next to us also asked why they had not received their order either. He said he would investigate. Table 46 then received their food and we then called the manager. With no response we eventually got up and cancelled our order and left. We were rudely called back by Monique who caused a scene demanding payment for drinks. She made a scene until the manager returned, apologised and said there would be no charge. Monique "supervises" the seating!! She needs training in rudeness, customer service and respect towards elderly. She made a bad experience worse
