At roughly 09:45 on 19 December 2013, I arrived at the Spur Canal Walk with my family. On arrival I stated that I have to be somewhere by 11:00 and asked if I can have my food ready to eat by 10:30 to which I was told that wouldn't be a problem. A while later we were given menus and our order was placed. I tried explaining to the waitress again that it's important my food comes quickly as I need to leave but she couldn't understand me. Every time I asked her if the food is coming soon she simply answered "yes". At 10:50 I personally went to the kitchen to find out where my food is only to find out that the kiddies meals (of which there were 3) was half prepared, my wife's food was nearly done and my food still had to go onto the grill. At this point I cancelled my order as I didn't have time to wait and left my family behind to wait for their food. If the staff were honest enough to say that they could not have my food done in time, I would have rather bought something light from the food court for breakfast and returned later in the day with my family for a Spur meal. If there was more space to write here I'd have added more comment.
