Another visit with my 2 young children this past week end to Mexico Spur for breakfast. Food took 30 minutes to arrive and low and behold the chips were basically just filled with a dark brown oil. There is no way my kids nor I will eat that food. So we packed up and went to another restaurant which was much better. When i raised it with the manager he was too eager to get me out of the restaurant as complaining in front of other customers was too much for him to handle. The excuse is not only bad quality of food presented by the chef, also the supplier for the chips is apparently to blame. Yet when the manager of the area on duty went out his way to make the food HIMSELF (and I mean that) it was slightly better but still 45 minutes to get the food right is unacceptable. It is clear that Spur is now not a healthy option at all for our family. when the staff sympathise with you, it is clear that they too are unhappy with the quality of food. They rely on tips and who gets a tip when they bring bad qualify food to your table and expect you to pay for it. Nothing seems ot be changing even when they know the food is of bad quality.
