Walked into Wimpy at Canal Walk in Cape Town. Placed order for drinks. Took them 15 minutes to eventually return with two floats. Did not know it would take that long! Asked why it took so long, was told they are very busy. I asked if I ordered food would it also take long? Answer was another 15 min. WRONG. 25 minutes later got our food. Cheese griller never saw a grill, 45s in a microwave maybe. My toast never saw the toaster either. Sent is back, was briefly warmed and dropped of at the table. Did not bother, if you cant make a simple piece of toast then I dont know why you bothered to open for the day. Oh, and then the extra onion rings that were ordered did not arrive until the meal was already finished. Manager not present on the floor checking service, but instead in the kitchen. Should have noticed something was wrong, when I entered I noticed that of all the tables that were occupied, only about three actually had food with people eating. The rest just waiting I assume.
If service is slow, at least get your orders right and cook the food properly. A microwave is NOT a grill!
