My son and I visited Wimpy at the Engin Garage at Kritzinger Alberton on Friday the 31 January. We placed our drink order with a lady and when she served it we placed our food order and another drink order. We were sitting and watching the grill. The lady shouted the order to the grill staff and left with her bag. Another lady came to the till area, didn't bother to bring my son's drink and carried on. A take away that was placed after my order, came out and only then you could hear how the patty of my son's burger were put on the grill. I ordered a normal kids burger meal, but when it came out, it was the cheese burger. I advised the lady that the order is wrong and that I am not going to pay for the cheese. What attitude I got from her was shocking. I asked for a manager. Asking the manager if I should be happy with the kind of service and food - he responded YES... Non of the staff is friendly - no matter what time you walk in there. It is as if they don't want to be there.
I stood up and walked out, offered to pay for the drinks, but the manager didn't want to accept the cash. This is not going to help to up the service. Rather close that branch!!
