We booked a table for 20 people. On arrival table did not meet our requirements, we were squeezed in a corner and not enough space to move.
We then expressed our concerned. They tried to sort the setup but they took long and when they did set the table, the tables were shaking because of the legs being short and long.. Furthermore all the other tables that they brougt in were of differnt sizes and heights. When we complained to the Manager, the owner of the place Mr Clive Pillay came out of his office and said well we did not expect big size people, and he said this in front of other customers. He was very arrogant and was literally argueing with us in front of all the customers. He eventually went back to his office and ignored us while we were trying to arrive at a solution.
We find this not acceptable as there is nowhere whereby the franchise stipulates that certain body sizes are not allowed in these restaurants. When we requested a refund he initially refused and said that he did not have cash but when other customers started taking an interest in our discussion, he then had the cash to refund us. We went to another restaurant and ended up having a good time
