We booked a table on Saturday 26 Jan for 3h30.We arrived 15 min late. Our table had either been given away or you had not banked that other tables would not have left. We were left standing in the sun twiddling our thumbs with no explanation. When we asked to speak to the manager, we found him scrambling and moving tables to get us a makeshift table in a doorway!? We had to ask a number of times to move the umbrellas as we were constantly in the sun. Why bother to book a table when there is no table available when we arrive! The food was good but the service continued to be shocking. Our waiter disappeared on us for up to 1 hour. NO ONE else bothered to attend to our table. When he eventually appeared he told us he had gone on lunch! He didn't bother to tell us he was going on a break or bother to get someone else to attend to us. I don't blame the waiter, I blame the management that allow this to happen. We won't be going back to this restaurant. You might think that this won't affect you, but if I tell 10 people and they tell another 10, etc It will start to affect you. If you had handled the situation differently, eg, a coffee of the house, then maybe we would have considered returning!
