Michael Dickason installed a new extraction fan at my restaurant and food court during April 2013. He offered a 12 month guarantee on the equipment. During August 2013, the fan stopped working and I called on Michael to replace the fan as per his guarantee.
From August 2013 until today (22 November 2013), Michael has not honoured his guarantee. He has avoided any contact with me.
During this time, the extraction system remained out of order. I have lodged a claim for damages totalling R28, 000 against Gantic Trading and Projects and Michael Dickason for non-performance of the guarantee.
