While having dinner at this establishment recently, the waiter informed us that the restaurant was about to close and could we hurry and leave. Needless to say I called the manager over who did not seem to be co-herent at all, eventually the "owner" came over and told us in no uncertain terms that as the owner Piatto Ushaka he had every right to close when he chose. There was apparently no need to stay open for so few tables, this was costing him wages!
I objected and was sworn at and told to leave, refusing to pay as my meal was not finished we left along with the other patrons.
This has truly amazed me that he can get away with such behaviour, the staff did not seem to be shocked at all which leads me to believe this is quite the norm for this very unpleasant restaurant owner.
Very surprised as my previous experience with what now seems to be the 'old' owner was very satisfying.
I recommend to stay away as you never know when this guy is going to turn, according to staff he is very erratic and has no idea how to communicate, swearing and shouting quite the norm to staff and patrons.
