I called in an order at 18:09 on Wed 23 Oct 2013 at Scooters Pizza Florida, Roodepoort. I ordered 2 small pizzas and asked for it to be delivered, less than 2km's from the store. At 18:42 I made a call back to the branch to find out where the order was. The man on the line said the driver was on his way. After that I made 6 more phone calls to the branch about my late order. At 19:48, 1 HOUR AND THIRTY NINE MINUTES LATER, my order arrived, cold. The driver said he got lost, and then had left the payslip at the branch. When I brought up the fact that their promise is "if it is late, it's free" he replied he did not have the slip and so I had to pay full price for the order. (order number 36). That very evening, I laid a complaint on the scooters pizza website, and to this day, 10 days later, they have not responded to it. I am most upset that never mind the extra hour delay, Scooter's motto is a mere gimmick and a lie. I refuse to ever support Scooters Florida again. This is most pathetic.
