It took Scooter pizza in Tzaneen 1 hour and 12 minutes to bake and deliver 3 pizzas on a "slow" night.
I phoned them at 19:53 placing my order for 3 pizzas asking them to deliver, and with Tzaneen being such a small town I expected the delivery in about 40 min. I placed the order just before I left work and when I got home I realized that my mother had also placed an order. With it being about 15 min since I ordered I phoned again trying to cancel -knowing that the pizza would probably be done, I phoned anyway. When I phoned at 20:16 the employee told me that it was impossible to cancel my order because it was ready to be delivered. She also said she could not even try to sell the pizzas to someone else because it was a "slow" night. I received my pizza at approximately 21:05. This means that it took Scooters pizza 49 minutes to deliver 3 baked pizzas in a small town on a "slow" night. Not wanting to be difficult I paid for the pizza. My question is how can it possibly take that long to deliver a pizza on a SLOW night. It was our first time ordering from Scooters, sadly it will most probably be our last- not because of the quality of the food but for the late, late delivery.
