I ordered a sausage mcmuffin meal with applejuice on the 10th of October at the drivethrough, was charged R23 and received my meal, with a small box of apple juice.
On the 23rd of October, I did the same and was informed that it would be R29! I queried the price increase and was told that it included a medium juice, but that I could have the small if I wished. I said yes, and the price reduced to R26.50, still a large increase on my previous visit.
I received the meal, to find that instead of a small box of juice (with a list of ingredients), I was handed a plastic cup of juice. No indication of exactly what was in the cup or whether it contained additional sweeteners or other unwanted substances...
So, I was charged more for something I didn't want, and almost even more for more of what I didn't want. Not a good customer experience at all.
