We went out to celebrate our anniversary at Cattle Baron. When we arrived where we greeted friendly and seated promptly, after this the evening just seemed to go downhill. When we asked for our drinks after about 20 minutes after being seated and no attempt from our waiter to take our drinks order, were we informed that vodka and the watermelon brutal fruit was out of stock and we had to change our order. Being a young couple in a celebrating mode we asked if we could get two shots caramel vodka, this was also out of stock... There was no background music playing and a waiter was fiddling with the speaker wires close to our table. We ordered the pork medallions and gordon bluie.. When we received our food the gordon bluie was still rawish inside and the supposedly stacked medallions where three pork chops with the fat cut off placed next to each other with a hump of mash. I informed the waitress that this food wasn't satisfactory and that I can make pork chops at home. Which sort of defeat the object of going out for a restaurant meal. The waitress was adamant for us just to try the food and we should have more shooters. What an and after a R580 bill.. NEVER AGAIN!!!
