I would like to thank the ALL staff of the Ocean Basket in the Zambesi Mall Derdepoort.
From the Manager/Owner, our waiter Blessing as well as the chef's in the kitchen.
I phoned to make a booking and asked about the smoking section, I was informed that they have a "nice" smoking section, that was not true, It was excellent!!
Every staff member contributed to our night being wonderful, the manager gave us a recommendation on a very nice wine, our waiter on an excellent seafood platter for 2 as well as dessert.
We were very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the food actually was. The chef has too be commended, he/she is definitely a star waiting to be discovered.
A big round of applause to all staff members at the Ocean Basket in Derdepoort, if only all restaurants had such high quality standards.
Within a 5km radius we have no less than 3 Ocean Baskets and none of the other 2 even remotely compare to your hospitality, quality and friendliness.
We will definitely see you again soon and recommend you to everyone!
