As Ocean Basket is one of my favourite restaurants, me and my boyfriend went to the Irene Mall to go see a movie and have dinner. Firstly the host who received us at the door, asked us where we would like to be seated. We opted for outside. For 25 min no one attended to us. Then a manager walk passed, in which I stopped him and asked if someone could serve us. He then said he will assist us. We then had a very slow waiter assist us with drinks. We received our food 30min later. Ate, paid and left. During the movie my boyfriend complained about abdominal pain, and cramps. I felt the same pain little later. He vomited, had a runny stool and also had fever. We had not had anything at the movies, so know it was the food from Ocean Basket. I am very disappointed with the service and getting food poisoning. I would never eat there again and will tell everyone I know to never support the Ocean Basket at Irene Mall. The service was the worst I have ever received from an OB.
