The evening started off well with a lovely bottle of wine and a great starter. We ordered salmon and angel fish, as recommended by our waiter. We were told it is " the best Norwegian Salmon and the Angel fish was the speciality". The salmon was so off it could not be swallowed and the smell was aweful. The Angel fish was tough, totally overcooked. We sent the salmon back and asked for the bill. We were offered another plate of food but refused. We asked for the bill. Instead of the bill another plate of food arrived. We sent it back as we had refused the offer. At this stage nobody asked me about the angel fish. We went up to the front where we were verbally abused by the manager (owner's son). His words were "nobody tells me my fish is bad" and in front of other customers made us stand there while he fetched a plate from the kitchen to show us that there was no fish left on it as "they" had been able to eat it! I have never been served such a bad meal and been treated in such an abusive and humiliating way until now. Needless to say, I paid for the wine and starter and left without making a scene in front of the owner's patrons.
