At dinner at Menlyn CTFM last night we smelt a very bad rotten fish smell at the sushi bar. This turned out to be old salmon in plastic bags, smelly, brown, white sticky salmon. The sushi maker proceeded to look for a little piece of pink salmon from this bag and made wasabi parcels with it and actually served it! The manager did not seem to notice or care. Furthermore, there was a prawn tail in one of my sushi pieces (but no prawn) and the calamari served to us was rubber, absolutely inedible. They will never see us there again as this is a serious violation of health and hygiene codes. Totally disgusted.
