I went to Caffe Della Salute last night with my boyfriend and his friend to get something to eat and have drinks. We chose to go to this particular restaurant because of its great ambiance and tasty pizzas.
When we walked into the restaurant we weren't met by a waiter so we walked towards one to ask for a table. She said there was no table even though there were several tables which just didn't't have enough chairs. When I told her there was a table outside she said we could go and sit there. After she walked away without saying a word to us we waited for about 20 minutes expecting a menu but she didn't't come back. I got up from my chair, went to another waitress and asked for a menu. She said she bring us one but after we waited 10 minutes as she loitered we decided to leave. This incident is very disheartening and disappointing. Waht many service providers afil to understand is that we as patrons enjoy supporting local businesses. We couid very easily have gone elsewhere to get a cheap, quick bite but we chose Caffe Della Salute.
