I am not a terribly fussy eater but what I was served today was unacceptable and only rivaled by that of the 'service' that I received in response to my request. I ordered an Alabama Chicken and the chips I received were stale, I accordingly was provided with equally stale chips in lieu of my first portion. Afterwhich, I set the chips aside and tried to focus on my "alabama chicken" (a meal I have enjoyed previously), a steak knife could not cut through the bread i was served as well as upon the moving of my chicken, I found that there was in fact no "middle" to the slice of ciabatta bread. I kindly asked the waiter to remove the plate, upon which I was assured that he had "seen" the kitchen staff freshly prepare the meal. I however understand his timidness, but the customer service from the manageress on duty was appalling. She could neither assure me that it would never happen again or even apologise for any possible "mix-up" that may have occurred. So without, so much as an apology or the decency to hold eye contact with me, I had no choice by to share my date's salad.
I have been a fan of Mugg and Bean in the past, not so much anymore
