Last Thursday i went to Moyo Eden for dinner with some friends. This is not the first time I've had terrible service. The last 2 times i was there i waited over 40 minutes for a drink, not even a cocktail. i eventually had to follow the waiter to the bar and stand there while he got the barman to make my drink.
Thursday i gave the food a try for the first time..it wasn't any better.
we ordered a hake and chip, beef burger, chicken tagine and peri peri chicken
they came back and told us they didn't have beef burgers so we accepted chicken- this came on a roll so hard you could chip a tooth!!
instead of the chicken tagine i got given a fish curry!
the peri peri chicken was ICE cold, felt like it had come from a fridge, sent it back to be warmed up in the microwave and they couldn't even get that right! tasted like tomato sauce, no peri peri whatsoever.
the hake and chips was the only correct meal we received!!
this is actually shocking. i was horrified at the service. Moyo is not cheap, and it's a luxury to most who go there, the least they can do is train their staff!!
