At the OR Tambo branch I ordered (take away) a 'by the fire mexicoco' a drink I have had many MANY times at a lot of other branches. The waitress who took my order did not have the foggiest idea about what I was talking about and even went so far as to point out that there is no such drink on the board and she has never heard of it. After practically forcing her 2 give me the menu I pointed it out to her, she had no idea how to make it and had never seen it before in her life, she had 2 ask the 'chef' if he knew how 2 make becoz he had to read the description of the drink in the menu before saying to me that yes, he could make it... iand he was still so unsure that I had 2 tell him how its served and even asked me 2 taste it before paying for it to make sure it was okay. PLUS they were out of whole cinnamon sticks.the waitress told me point blank that she was just going to give me steamed milk and cinnamon if it wasn't for the chef knowing how 2 serve it. What amazed me most of all was that there was no manager or supervisor around 2 watch this scene unfold or take action! Does mugg and bean not train their staff? Where was the floor manager? Unacceptable service
