I went to John Dorys at Gateway to use my R100 birthday voucher as it expires soon. Only be told I cant use it for take aways and that I must read the terms and conditions on the sms. But the SMS did not have any T&C. and when I googled for that info on their rewards site, there is NO mention of that! Only that you have to redeem it in your birthday month. When I told the waiter this he said its their new rules. Then surely they should say this on their sms! or add this to their website, as I have never had any problems before at other branches. What is the point of having a REWARDS CARD, if your only rewarded on THEIR TERMS. thats not a reward!!!
So quick to take money but shut you down when they promise to give back. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
