As a long time Nandos customer, I am just disgusted with the calibre of bad service / attitude received over this weekend. On Saturday 3 August, at approximately 15:30pm, my sister and I popped into the Sandton City Nandos for a bite after a busy day of shopping. We paid for our order and grabbed a seat. The service was going very well up until a gentleman, one of the "managers" there (african gentleman in manager's shirt) brought over some other random patrons to just sit at our table while we were still eating! I was shocked, as our meals were not even finished, and we were at a very small table. Even those patrons seemed shocked, but this manager guy simply said "Just wait here, these "people" are almost finished." I was furious, but was not up for making a scene, so my sister and I - disgusted - simply left the table, without finishing our meal. I cannot believe this is how you train you so-called "managers" to treat paying customers. We had paid for our meals, but were literally forced to leave so they could make space for other people. I trust that this matter will be actioned and that we get our refund for our half-eaten food! Utterly shocking excuse 4 service!!
