I recently ordered a ice cream cake from your Eastgate branch. When going in to collect the cake on the specified day at the specified time we were told the cake was not ready. This irritated me as the order was placed a few days earlier and the time was specified. The cake that was then brought out was completely plain. This was not what I had ordered. I ordered a ice cream cake with a birthday message on it, not just a plain cake. On our copy of the receipt it even says "birthday message" etc. The guy then said that his slip didn't say this, what utter rubbish! It is a carbon slip. Anything written on it when the order was placed would be on both slips! The store even had the original so there is no excuse! Being fed this rubbish when the store is obviously in the wrong is not on. We had already paid for a cake that was supposed to have a birthday message on it and received something different. Photos were taken of both the cake and slip if these are needed. I'm disgusted by this level of "service", actually lack of service. And then to also be fed a poor excuse when they were in the wrong.
