John Dory's Ballito was taking no bookings, which was understandable due to it being peak season by the coast. Our table of 9 people eventually got seated. It took over 20mins of asking for service just to get a drinks order, it then took 15mins just to get those drinks.By then we already knew what we wanted to eat and decided to order when the drinks arrived to avoid a further waiting period. 3 people ordered starters, of which 1 never arrived. Mains arrived, 7 people got their food in which 2 people got fried instead of grilled. Eventually after a further 15mins the 8th person got her food, but it was the wrong order, and was sent back. She ordered Hake & Calamari with salad (easy order) she got prawns the first time, steak the second time, and then hake and calamari with rice the third time. At this point she could not wait anymore and decided to forgo the salad. Eventually the 9th person got his meal (with a salad when chips were ordered), and to put the icing on the cake, his prawns were RAW!!! This was the last straw, and we called the manager. She eventually rocked up a good 20mins later. She then blamed the kitchen staff & maybe voided two items off the bill. Never again!
