CTFM usually has excellent food and excellent service. I don't know what went wrong when I went for dinner there last week, perhaps the Christmas rush. The tempura fried sushi was completed different - usually my favorite but this time it was terrible. The robata baby squid had ONLY FOUR SQUID HEADS and the sauce was completely different - tasted quite terrible. The waitress took forever to attend to us. We overlooked all this since we're regulars here and know the usual quality. When the bill came and we presented the waitress with our "Liberty Own Your Life Rewards" card which qualifies us for a 10% discount on our meal, the waitress advised that the machine for this card isn't working so our discount cannot be processed and said "maybe next time it'll work and you'll get your discount on that meal." We were unhappy with this and asked for the manager who advised the same thing - blaming the technician for not showing and refusing to process the card. Only upon us saying that we will pay the full bill but will be contacting the rewards about to complain about this specific branch did he manually deduct the discount. I was terribly disappointed in CTFM for this type of service.
