My sister ordered food on Friday night, and half an hour after placing her order, someone from Debonairs called her to say that they wouldn't be able to deliver her order, as their vehicle had broken down. They didn't inquire whether she would have liked to pick up the order. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and offer her a rebate or discount on her next order. If free delivery is offered and your order offered free if delayed, shouldn't there be compensation for failure to deliver? I fully understand that these things happen, but back up plans should be in place.
