I'm very disappointed with not just the terrible service at Cubana-Greenpoint but the sheer arrogance with which the bar tender/ manager handled (paying) customers.
I refer to an incident two weeks ago, I ordered two ciders, the lady rung it up but then I decided I wanted a Mijito instead, I asked the lady to change my drink (the ciders were still unopened) she told me flat out I can't. I then questioned why she couldn't just cancel the one drink and have the Mojito made, she refused and called a manager whose name I believe is Sbu. I explained to him that I just want to change one drink-he refused. I then asked him to cancel the order completely. I came back to the bar to order the drinks I wanted, Sbu served me, telling me I HAD to get the drinks I'd ordered initially and I wouldn't be served anything different since I'd made my choice (appaling). I told him I'd cancelled that order and now wanted to something different, he told me I'd made my choice and wouldn't be getting served anything different until I paid for those drinks. I then told him to "" the choice, at which point he called bouncers to escort us out.
I'm curious, is "thathile thathile" the policy Cubana?
